So it snowed last night. That's kinda fucked up. I woke up in the night and thought I heard rain. It's not like it would be usual thing for me to hear mind you. It was that or the cat climbed up on the roof to go potty and she doesn't do heights so I figured rain was my best bet.
But to find this fucking snow on the ground when I got up is ridiculous.
At least the sunrise was pretty.
I made the decision not to go outside into the "melted by 10 am" white death. That and I'm just tired and had lots to do. Then I ended up doing a bunch of things I didn't need to do with the time that I really needed to do other stuff. There was a nap and a hot bath involved. Still tired though. I blame MonkeySocks. That girl has me burning the candle at both ends. Coffee fueled candle burning at that. *grin*
So last Friday, April 6th, was my One Year Blogoversary. I knew it was coming and just missed it. Opps. So yeah for those of you following along at home I started knitting on March 25th and had my blog up and running a few weeks later. It was a short decision too. Just up and did it one night. And it has made all the difference. It's a different kind of freedom to blog publicly versus privately. Plus now I know all you'se fabulous peoples. :D
For those of you new to the scene here is the first month of blogging last April. Notice my fancy knitting content. Garter stitch cloth, baby. Hot Knitting Action. Just for you yeah, baby. *blows kisses @ everyone* Bonus of Shaved Kitty. *wiggles eyebrow*
Recently someone(s) said I seemed oversexed. I don't think that can actually exist. If it's on a persons mind or whatever it's not a bad thing. Plus it is Spring and all. Just say'n. :P
Granted it's more knitting content than I've had lately. I swear I'm knitting. Just slowly... or something. That and multiple projects at once kinda makes progress look slow. Maybe I should take a break and do a Charity hat as a break. That always makes me feel good. That reminds me soon I'll be taking a sweater class from this lovely lady I know from my LYS. It's a top down sweater. I see about making my kids Dulaan sweater. Maybe she can help me find a top down for a kid sweater that'd be good for a first sweater. :D
Finally I have to tell you all about the kickass time I had with my Honey Tuesday. He took me to see GrindHouse: Planet Terror & Death Proof. *GRIN*
This Double feature is so fucking good it actually makes up for all the crappy bad movies we've seen in the last few years. Including that bloody awful Superman Returns. Pure shit that was. Fuck Fuck Fuck Planet Terror & Death Proof were both so kickass awesome I'm ready to go pay to see it again on the big screen. :D
Now when the honey said he wanted to take me to see that I said okay no questions asked. I had no idea what they were about. But when you have Quentin Tarantino & Robert Rodriguez making a movie you don't ask what, you just GO see it. Of course throw in some sexy Rose McGowan action with a gun for a leg and it's a down right must see movie. :P
Now here's the real deal maker. Planet Terror is a ZOMBIE Movie. *girlish squee!!!!*
There were a few parts that made me cringe and think I could have lived forever without seeing that particular object of disgust, but you kinda have to expect that with any Tarantino movie. The funny thing was how often I said, "Awesome!!" to my honey as we watched the movie. It was just too damn awesome. It was crazy over the top and funny as fuck. Seriously. Kickass awesome.
Death Proof was very good too. This is the one that kinda scared me while watching it. I won't say why as I don't want to give anything away and ya'll have to go see Grindhouse Pronto. You'll be happy you did. Instant classic. :D
Can't wait to see the scenes they cut from both movies. Supposed to change the whole meaning of the films. :D
The other cool part of GrindHouse was the faked up "previews" they had made for these movies. Rob Zombie's Werewolf Women of the S.S was too damn funny.
The honey is hoping we can get some of our friends together that he thinks would appreciate these films Saturday to go see it again. It'd be cool if that works out. I'd love to see all of this again. Don'tcha just love a good Zombie movie.
*eats everyones brains with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sprinkles*
Mmmm Brains! :D
You mean we don't get to see snow otters? Boo. :-(

OMG, what a trip down memory lane that was. And I was first to comment, too. And I'm STILL first to comment. What is that about anyway????
I knew you'd like that new zombie movie. Personally, not a Tarantino fan. I have some opinions about his work, though.
But, yeah, happy bloggerversary!
NO MORE COFFEE FOR YOU!

Happy Bloggiversary, oversexed and all. (I can't believe someone said that. Well, yes, I suppose I can. But if you want oversexed -- or I'm not sure if the person is over- or UNDERsexed, but she sure does make everything filthy with it -- I can point you in the direction of someone. But I won't. Because it's purely toxic there.)
