My KSKS arrived and it's awesome!!!!
This is the second kit my lovely KSKS partner sent out as the first one was eaten by the postal system or something. She was very sweet though and got to work on a second kit for me as soon as we realized there was a problem. Who is that lovely generous and kind person you ask? Why none other than Sherry of A Waste of Valuable Server Space! :D
Thank you so much, sweetie. This kit is AWESOME and well worth the wait. :D *Happy Otter Dance*
Here's the whole thingy: (Clickie all the piccies to make biggie)
Here is the Bag: Sherry designed it herself. :D It has several pockets on the inside and looks like it will be wonderful for holding sock projects.
Here is a ferret she sent along to keep my kit safe and happy as well as a TOTALLY KICKASS Otter Fabric Needle case!! :D How Cool!
Here is another view of the Otter Case as well as all the tools and treats she sent along. She made those cool needle holders herself and even has a post on her blog on how to make them. Very Clever this girlie! :D There are Bamboo needles, beaded stitch markers, a measuring tape, stickers, Burt's Bees Lip Balm, Peppermint cups, fruity hard candies, and a lovely personal note card.
Here is the sock yarn she sent along for me. She is a fabulous yarn picker outer! (picker outer is proper I swear. :P:) The top blue skein is by Lana Grossa and is really a really cool variegation of blues to black. The lower pink/purple hank is by Lisa Souza. It is REALLY soft and the picture doesn't do the colors justice. This is one of my most favorite hanks of yarn ever now. :D I hadn't heard of this brand before and boy am I thrilled to know it now. :D
Here are the patterns she sent along with the kit: Jaywalkers and two types of Toe Up patterns. :D I can't wait to give them all a whirl.
Thank you so much, sweetie. :D I really appreciate the extra effort you put into my kit.

Next up I need to post the how's and what's of my Bitchin' Mittens and how they ate my brain. *L*
Yay!
I'm so glad it finally arrived. Now I can't wait to see socks. :D

That is all such cool stuff! I thought that ferret was real. And the Lisa Sousa is great stuff. (I'm hoarding a couple of skeins for one of those days...) Lucky gal!
