Pattern:
Silver's Sock Class
Yarn:
Lorna's Laces - almost one skein of Shepard Worsted in the colorway Rainbow
Yarn Source:
Jimmy Beans Wool - Reno
Needles: Clover Takumi Bamboo - US 7 / 4.5mm DPN's
Gauge: I don't think I even thought about it when I started. It shows too! o.0
Modifications: I followed along and only did what I was told to do. I think... I hope.
Notes: Started on June 5th - completed August 5th. I should have just worked the second sock as soon as I was done with the first one. Well I cast on for it, but then I got tangled up in other projects and let this sit too long. Next time I'm going to do the two at once. That means I'll have to get double sets of DPN's, but I think it will be worth it in the long run. Ya know so they match and my gauge doesn't change. *L*
Learned: I learned a LOT from these socks. Such as you can't really eyeball the length of the cuff or the foot. If you want your socks to match up you really should count how many rows you are doing on the first sock and then do then same on the second sock. I learned that the hard way. Then I learned that if your gauge should change between socks that even if you do go back and count rows you'll still have issues and end up with FrankenFeet Socks.
These socks may not be perfect but they were made with love. In just a bit they will be making a trip to the posty office where they will go live with and hopefully fit a very special person. ♥
I think they look wonderful -- congratulations, well done, and welcome to the wonderful world of socks!

YOU ARE GIVING AWAY YOUR FIRST BORN?
I wish I was that strong..I just can't do it..I seem to become emotionally attached to every pair of socks that I make.
