Knit Togethers in Nevada

If you have a Knit Group in Nevada you'd like to have listed on the upcoming Knit Together Page please leave a comment or email me with the details and I'll add it to the list. Please be specific about the time, date & location of your group. :D

If you are in Reno and would like to meet up with a knitting/crochet group you are in luck.

Florrie the lovely owner of Deluxe Yarns, Ect. on Vassar hosts a knit together every First Monday and Third Thursday of the month from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Group Name: Knit N' Rip

Location: Deluxe Yarns, Etc.
138 Vassar, Reno NV 89502

Date: First Monday & Third Thursday of each month

Time: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Notes: This isn't a teaching class, but a social gathering for friendly knitters and crocheters of all skill levels. If you would like to learn to knit or crochet you can check with Florrie on the dates of her knitting/crocheting classes.

You can get Meet Up Reminders for the Knit Togethers @ the Knit N' Rip Meet Up Page.

Deluxe Yarns regular store hours are Monday - Saturday 10am-6pm. Closed Sunday. If you can't make it to the Knit N' Rip group pop in any day the store is open, you'll likely find a few knitters at the table making progress on their current project and checking out the ever growing yarn selection. Florrie just got in a huge new batch of Claudia Hand Painted Sock Yarn!! Come for the yarn, stay for the friendly atmosphere... and the yarn, cause who are we kidding yummy yarn makes the world go 'round. :D

Deluxe Yarn, Ect. is an Otter Approved Yarn Source - Store Review coming soon.

Welcome to the Nevada Knitters Web Ring!

Are you a Knitter or Fiber Artist in Nevada with a Blog?

If so this is the ring for you! :D

You don't have to post all the time or be about knitting and the wonderful world of Yummy Fibers all the time. Just be yourself and you'll be just fine here at Nevada Knitters.

Comment with your blog name/URL and where you are at then head over to the Join Page at RingSurf and join up after reading the rules. If you have any questions drop me a comment here or an email. My name is KnittyOtter and I'm in Fabulous Reno Nevada! ;)

It will be interesting to see how many Nevada Knitters are out there blogging.

Ring Code

Once you submit your request to join the Ring please put the code that is emailed to you or is given at the end of the submission process up on your blog. It will look like the  code listed here. I'm posting this so you can see what it will look like, should you have any difficulties. Should you use this code please input your Ring ID Number.

Here is the Ring Path / Link Button: Nevada_knitters_button_1

You will need to host the Link Button on your own server. If you don't know what that means feel free to ask. Bandwidth Theft Makes Baby Bunnies and Otters Cry... and you wouldn't like me very much when I get angry. ;)

Nevada Knitters RingSurf Guidelines

 1. You must be a Knitter and have a Knitting Blog.

2. You Must Live in Nevada! *L*

3. The ringsurf code must appear somewhere on your knitting blog, not on any other page.

4. The ring code must be visible.

5. Save the Nevada Knitters ring button on YOUR own web site sever or photo album. Directly using the image saved on my server will get your site deleted from the ring without question.

6. You have one week to put up the ring code before you're added to the ring. If it's not up by then, your site's submission will not be accepted.

7. Keep the RingSurf email you get for your records.

8. You must update your blog at least once a month.

9. No matter what, you can resubmit any time if you have been deleted before or denied. ;)

10. When you join the ring, make sure to write in your blog address EXACTLY as shown on your address bar when your site is pulled up. http:// and all.

11. If you no longer want to be a part of this ring, please remove yourself.

12. You MUST at least have a PREVIOUS and NEXT link on your Nevada Knitters RingSurf Code. Having a link that goes straight to the join page defeats the purpose of a ring. If you do not have a next and previous link on your ring, you will not be accepted. I will also go through the ring and weed out people that currently have only a link back to this page.
